The Internship Plan is a brief, but specific, document indicating your overall approach to the Internship Program. Within this document, you will briefly identify the areas of activities you will approach and indicate which of the ten TExES Superintendent Competencies and Quality Indicators are used with each. You will also provide a brief description of the activities, your resource person to be used, and estimated completion date for the entire plan. As always, this is a living document and subject to update and change.

District action research plan – Students may wish to add an action research plan to their Superintendent Intern Plan. You may use the two Action Research templates (School or Professional Improvement – SIP/PIP) Template.

  1. Looks good Kevin! We do have some of the same activities selected. :) Great minds think alike, right? Let me know if I interpreted the directions for the plan wrong, and it may not be any big deal, but the directions said to order the activities by competency. So, I ordered mine 1-10, but my activities are out of order that way.
I would be interested in what you find out in your iPad activities. Do you have an iPad that you use at work? How do you use it? Take care!

  2. Thanks, Wes. I will get that fixed and re-post it. Thanks for pointing that out. I appreciate your time. I really want to sort it by the due dates I assigned to all of them and put all of these in my calendar.

  3. That's a really good idea. Might make it less intimidating when looking at it that way. Hah!

  4. I love the idea about sorting by due date. I have mine by Competency and I think for my own personal use, I will follow the sort Kevin is using. Good luck with all of these activities, I know I am going to need it. Everything looks really good.
